Rainy Dublin

Posted June 21st, 2008 by admin

Well after having¬†absolutely¬†perfect weather yesterday, we now sit drying out in our Dublin B & B. After dropping the car at the airport (which I’m thankful to be able to say we returned it without a scratch despite our harrowing adventures in the west.) we headed out of the airport to look for a hotel or B & B to stay at. This was much harder than anticipated,¬†apparently¬†Eric Clapton is playing this weekend so there are a lot of people staying in Dublin. To make a long story short, 3 hours and 15 miles of wind and rain later, we found a place in Dublin.
We’ll be visiting the Trinity College, the Guinness brewery, and several other museums and points if interest as soon as our shoes dry a bit.

while you guys are enjoying the lovely irish weather it’s going to be 98 degrees today and it was 100 yesterday! but don’t worry, it’s suppose to cool off by the time you get home. eva and i are going swimming today to escape the heat. right now she’s all squished up in her baby swing sound asleep. she really has grown a lot since you left. i miss you guys. try not to get arrested sneaking into the eric clapton concert. i know you’ll be tempted. i love you.
