Tragic Names
Today we are going to see the Rock of Cashel (pictured below) and while we wait for the gates to be opened we visited another local monument. The Irish seem to have quite a few tragically or at the very least¬†hilariously¬†named places, such as the Island of Muck, the town of Stepaside or the river Suck. This monument is called Hore Abbey, which dates back to 1270, is¬†actually¬†named after a yew tree. It is the largest ruined structure we’ve had the privilege to enter and we have amazing pictures with an ominous murder of crows circling the¬†derelict¬†walls of the abbey.

Of course the most important question of all is, where’s the WC. I hope you boy’z have been “moving” across the Isle in good fashion. Oh well, off to enter the dreaded “Ring of Cary” yet again.
