Mind the Gap
The Gap of Dunloe that is. The Ring of Kerry is Ireland’s¬†Yosemite¬†and the Gap of Dunloe is an impressive sight to behold.
The sheer heights are stunning, accented babbling brooks, wind swept mountain lakes, the softest grass you’ve ever seen and a bountiful array of mountain flowers. Through all this is a steep narrow road which ascends up the valley, which after our few days of rest rode with glee. Not carrying the bags on our bikes made the 8 miles¬†whiz¬†by, at least when we¬†weren’t¬†stopped by roving sheep. Here is a picture of me half way up purple mountain.

that picture of patrick on the cliffs looks like a scene from a romantic movie. i’m such a sap, i know. did you get a glimpse of any wee folk yet? this all makes me think of Darby O’ Gill and the little people. do you remember that movie Will? anyway, i hope you are both sleeping and eating well. good thing you got the car because according to mom it sounds like it’s been a very wet few days. i love you both. and Will make sure you buy one of those hats like the one Patrick has. i hear they look good on you.

Very poetic Wills, it sounds like a very peaceful sort of place. Nice to see you in the picture willy. Missing you.
