It was raining hard, so no iPhone picture, we did however   get lots of video and pictures (including Patrick kissing the Blarney   Stone. I opted not to press my lips against a rock millions of others   have slobbered upon).  The castle itself was in decent condition, but   their method of preservation, was disappointing with too many modern   appendages for my taste.  After this we continued driving bent on   finding camping to save money.
